EddiejBaby, is a Hiplife and Afro Highlife musician who hails from Saltpong in the Mfanteman District in the Central Region of Ghana.
Known in real life as Kojo Amissah, Eddiejbaby was born in the 80’s with so much love for music in high volumes where he always had problems with the strict parental African upbringing.
He is a proud African and a Ghanaian to be precise who never stood up against his parents ambition to be educated whilst nurturing his musical talents.
Eddiejbaby holds a degree in French Education (B. Ed French) from the University of Education, Winneba.
He always wished to be a guitarist but never had the chance to and chose his voice and microphone as a musical tool to embrace his ambition.
The position of the Chairman for Entertainment Committee in his Tertiary level of Education sparked his quest to explore his talents as an indie artist under his own record label GEDS Records.
His debut single, a hiphop track dubbed “Muhammad Ali” had the cheers of his fans, which gingered his other studio singles recordings in Afrobeats, Hiplife and Afro Highlife music.
He’s had singles such as Sister Ewuraba, Appetite, Friday Night, Osheleshe, Kontomire, under the stage name Eddie J. He’s then changed his name as an artist to Eddiejbaby as a signature in most of his songs.
