Asante Kotoko signed goalkeeper Kwame Baah without the knowledge of head coach Charles Akonnor, according to Accra-based Asempa FM.
The Ghana U23 goalkeeper passed his medicals on Wednesday and signed a three-year-deal.
Akonnor has eventually left his post as head coach of the NC Special Competition Tier I champion.
According to Ghana Sports sources, assistant coach Akakpo Patron has also been axed from his role.
The signing of Kwame Baah means the Porcupine Warriors now have five goalkeepers in their folds with Ibrahim Danlad, Osei Kwame, Muntari Tagoe and Felix Annan are the old faces.
