Leaders and Staff MTN, the Leading Telecommunications Giant in Ghana have enlightened students of the Egyaa Number 2 Basic School located in Mfantseman in the Central Region on the effects and dangers of “substance abuse”, a pattern of repeated drug or alcohol use that often interferes with health, work or social relationships.
This was part of a training on career guidance and education on drugs and the need to stay focused as students concentrate on their books as they yearn for a better future for themselves.

Regina Arkaifie revealed, that the engagement with the Students is a concept under the MTN ‘Yello Care which offers staff of MTN 21 days from their working Calendar an opportunity to give back to society for the past years to make the lives of beneficiaries better through the projects implemented.
She continued that the theme for this year’s yellow care is creating a brighter future for the youth who are the greatest assets and investment for a country’s development, and that, it was through adequate knowledge and skills that they could become agents of development.
Chief of Egyaa who doubles as the Ankobeahen of the Anomabo traditional area and a worker of MTN, Nana Otsiwa kuma VI, applauded MTN for the training and said it will empower the youth in diverse ways so they achieve their dreams and goals in future.
