MTN Ghana, the biggest Telecommunications giant has embarked on a Customer Outreach Program in Cape Coast in the Central Region as part of the celebration to mark this year’s workers day.
The outreach compelled workers of MTN Ghana Limited both executives and normal staff to move around the various markets and streets from their offices to render services to Ghanains on the street who do not have time to visit MTN offices to provide information on MTN’s products and services,
They also used the opportunity to sell their new 4G phones which is very affordable but support all social media phlartforms like Facebook, Twitter, watsap etc and also solicited feedback on MTN Ghana’s operations, and helped address Customer’s needs.
Mr. Owusu Nyarko who just took over as the Senior Regional Manager for the South-West Business District and was on his first customer outreach in the area said ‘’we have set aside the customer outreach day to bond and gel with our customers. It affords us the opportunity to interact with them and learn at first hand, their challenges and help them resolve these challenges’’.He also revealed the move is to sell out MTN new products and services like their 4G connectivity, modems etc to customers.
He explained that the company during the interaction also sought to connect customers who are not yet on the 4G network to enable them enjoy speed in internet connectivity and to enjoy superior quality experience.
‘’We have also introduced a brand new smart feature phone to the customers and it is very affordable. We are aware of the challenges some of our customers go through in order to own some of these smart phones so that they can also connect with the world via Facebook, Whatsapp and so on. And so we have brought a phone that can do all that and it is going for as low as 150 Ghana cedis’’ he said.
