The National Women’s Organiser for United traders Forum(UTF), which seeks the welfare of petty traders, Maame Serwaah has broken silence on how women Traders are treated unfairly when it comes to support needed to widen their business or any other help.
The National Women Organiser disclosed that,the outcome of their hardships, which is the taxes are used to pay all the public servants ranging from police officers to other public servants yet they are regarded as useless in the country.
She hinted that, it is about time all the petty traders come together as one people to form an organization to stand up and fight for what they deserve and hence the formation of the United Traders Forum (UTF), an organization for petty traders to to come together and demand for what rightfully belongs to them as far as trading is concerned.
She explained that,as it stands now, Ghana Union Traders Association GUTA can abort the decision of government, because they have formed a union and have a Spokesperson to forward their grievances, and that is the reason why UTF has also come to help petty traders to get support from the government

Maame Serwaah bemoaned that, as it is said”unity is strength” it is about time to come together as one people to fight for their share of the national cake
Maame Serwaah disclosed this at the Cape Coast Jubilee Park, during the launch of the Cape Coast UTF chapter in the Central region.
